Individual Tax Manager
Yellow Business Services Co. is excited to announce an opening for an Individual Tax Manager to join our dedicated team in New York. This full-time remote position provides an exceptional opportunity for a mid-senior level professional to make a significant impact in the accounting industry, helping clients navigate complex tax regulations and optimizing their tax strategies.
As an Individual Tax Manager, you will oversee tax compliance and planning for individual clients, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements while maximizing tax savings. Your expertise will be essential in managing client relationships and providing high-quality service that aligns with our mission to deliver exceptional tax solutions. We offer a competitive salary range of $95,000 - $110,000 annually, along with comprehensive benefits and a supportive work environment that fosters professional growth.
Responsibilities
Oversee the preparation and filing of individual tax returns
Develop tax planning strategies to maximize client savings
Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations
Provide expert advice on complex tax issues and regulations
Manage client relationships and provide exceptional customer service
Review and mentor junior tax staff and associates
Stay updated on tax legislation and changes
Collaborate with other departments to integrate tax strategies into overall financial plans
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
5+ years of experience in individual tax planning and compliance
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in tax preparation software and tools
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Experience in managing client relationships
