Withum'sTax Services Group is made up of a brilliant team of tax specialists that work to ensure tax reporting obligations are met in an accurate and timely manner and minimize or defer the payment of taxes. Their comprehensive understanding of international, US federal, state, and local regulations, counting our affiliation with HLB international, allows them to help develop economical tax strategies anywhere. Their services include Business, Individual, State & Local tax, R&D Tax Credit, as well as International and Private Client services
This Senior Manager role will be based out of our any of ourCalifornia, Chicago, Houston, New Jersey, New York City, or Philadelphia office . You'll work alongside an integrated team of seasoned, well-known CPAs and industry leaders. In this position, you have an opportunity to build a strong team and be provided with a path to Partnership.

Howyou'llspendyourtime:
Reviewingcomplex C corp., S corp. and partnership income tax returns
Strategic planning for clients including advising on federal and state compliance issues
Managingmultiple engagements concurrently with various teams to efficiently meet client deadlines
Identifyingtax planning opportunities
Conductingconstructive discussions with team members on their evaluations and providing counsel accordingly
Servingin professional development programs as an instructor or discussion leader
Seeking and developing new clients/business
Thekinds ofpeoplewewant totalk tohavemany ofthefollowing:
Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA license orMastersof Science in Taxation
8+ years of prior experience working in the tax department of a public accounting, with experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff
Excellent analytical and technical tax skills
Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment
Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to represent the Firm well to client's management
Excellent analytical, organizational, project management skills, and strong attention to detail
Ability to travel as needed
The compensation range for this position is $135,000 - $250,000. In addition to the base compensation, Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance. Final offer amounts are based on multiple factors such as the specific role, hiring location, as well as the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications. California ranges are from $135,000 - $250,000
Chicago range is from $150,000 - $175,000
Florida ranges are from $140,000 - $225,000
Houston range is from $175,000 - $215,000
New Jersey ranges are from $135,000 - $230,000
New York City - $150,000 - $225,000
Philadelphia range is from $170,000 - $200,000
