Overhead Crane Electrical Assembly TechnicianDeSHAZO is a leader in the Overhead Bridge Crane design and manufacturing industry, renowned for creating custom-built cranes that excel in reliability and boast an extended service life. With a state-of-the-art machining facility producing precision parts held to close tolerances, DeSHAZO has solidified its position as a dominant force in the Overhead Crane Industry.Job Summary:Perform electrical assembly of new, custom-made overhead crane equipment. This includes planning and layout of and wiring of custom control panels. In addition, reading schematics and BOM's to correctly wire and install all individual components, VF drives and motors. Also possess the ability to recognize design deficiencies or malfunctions where immediate determinations or corrections are needed to enhance quality and/or safety.Job Responsibilities:Layout, drilling, and cutting with hand power tools.Layout and modification of custom panels.Work independently, with minimal supervision.Inspect equipment for quality and safety issues.Work from electrical schematics.Work hours and shifts as necessary.Requirements:Certification from Tech School in Electronics, Industrial Maintenance, or Military ElectronicsExperience wiring PLC's, VF Drives and MotorsForklift experienceValid driver's licenseSpeak, read, and write proficient English.Own basic electrician's toolsPhysical Requirements:Regularly lift up to 50 lbs.Stand/walk for 10-hour shiftsBe able to work in any position (reach, bend, kneel, etc.)Be able to work in any environment (hot, cold, dusty, dirty, etc.)Be able to normally see, hear and talk.Benefits Available:Medical (Eligible 1st of the month following hire date.)Dental & VisionCritical Illness CoverageAccident Insurance (off the job accidents)Company-paid Basic Life/AD&DCompany-paid Short-Term DisabilityVoluntary Long-Term Disability InsurancePre-tax Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA, DCA)401(k) – Match is discretionary 50% matching up to 6%Employee Assistance Program9 Paid Holidays per yearPTO ProgramEqual Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled/Other Protected CategoryDeSHAZO's Mission: Deshazo is committed to elevating our clients' business needs through custom-built cranes and tailor-made automation systems.
