Job description
Industrial ElectricianWe are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to support electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repair within a manufacturing/industrial facility.ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems, machinery, motors, controls, and power distribution equipment.Perform electrical maintenance and installation on plant equipment.Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.Diagnose electrical breakdowns and power failures and determine the appropriate repair.Work with motors, generators, transformers, circuit breakers, control panels, switches, wiring, and other electrical components.Use multimeters and other electrical test equipment, hand tools, and power tools.Assist with electrical controls and related mechanical repairs.Follow established safety procedures and good maintenance practices.QualificationsJourneyman Electrician credentials from an accredited program or an Associate's degree in Electrical Technology or a related field.Minimum 2 years of industrial electrical experience.Experience troubleshooting electrical equipment in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Ability to read electrical diagrams and troubleshoot electrical systems independently.Must be able to pass an electrical written test.Ideal candidates will have experience working with industrial machinery and electrical maintenance in a plant or manufacturing environment.Benefits PEAK's benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Dependent Care Savings Account (DCA), and 401K plan.
