Electrician PositionFor nearly a century Clifford-Jacobs Forging has been a leader in their space providing quality services to the Mining, Gears, Aerospace, Energy, and Defense industries. We set the industry standard for quality, performance, craftsmanship, and customer service.We're currently looking to grow our team of Electricians!The Electrician is responsible for performing all plant electrical work.Salary and benefits consistent with IBEW #601 'Inside Journeyman Wireman'.Four Day Work Week/ 40 Hours per Week (Monday-Thursday, 5 am to 3 pm).Requirements:One year experience in manufacturing;Industrial electrical experienceAbility to repair and troubleshoot 120V, 240V, 480V, and 3-phase systems;Experience with motor controls, VFDs, and industrial automationPreferred:Strong mechanical aptitudeAbility to read, interpret, and execute drawings, schematics, blueprints, and electrical code specificationAbility to work overtime when necessaryJob Functions:Diagnose and repair electrical issues on industrial equipment and machineryInstall, maintain, and troubleshoot motors, controls, VFDs, sensors, and PLC-related systemsRead and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawingsPerform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and production equipmentAssist with equipment upgrades, new installations, and plant improvementsInstalls, repairs, and/or replaces AC/DC motors and drives, starters or relayInstalls, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, support structures, fiber-optic, line assemblies, lightingReplace belts on all plant motorsRepair boiler controlsDrive fork-lift truckFour Day Work Week/ 40 Hours per Week (Monday-Thursday, 5 am to 3 pm)
