Industrial ElectricianLocation: Cincinnati, OH, US, 45201 Workplace Environment: Onsite Company: UGI Energy Services, LLCUGI Energy Services supplies and markets natural gas, liquid fuels, renewable natural gas, and electricity to 42,000 customer locations across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern US. We are a supplier, marketer, and midstream services provider - one backed by 135 years of natural gas experience, plus our own expanding energy infrastructure. Along with buying and selling energy commodities at the wholesale level, UGIES owns and operates key midstream natural gas assets.Job Posting Dates This job posting is open from August 7 to September 11, 2026.Job SummaryThe Maintenance Electrician is responsible for executing electrical and mechanical maintenance activities, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the SSB (Synthica St. Bernard) organic waste RNG facility.Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain equipment such as pumps, motors, compressors, and conveyorsMaintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and equipment histories in the CMMS (computerized maintenance management system)Ensure all work complies with company, project, and regulatory safety requirements, participate in safety audits and inspectionsHands on troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of pumps, motors, compressors, conveyors and other mechanical systemsAccess the tops of tanks to perform routine maintenancePerform preventive and corrective maintenance on anaerobic digesters, including agitators, mixers, heating systems, and associated piping and valvesInspect, troubleshoot, and service flare systems to ensure reliable operation and compliance with environmental and safety regulationsDiagnose electrical faults using meters, schematics, and SCADA systemsSupport and maintain PLC/HMI/SCADA systems used in anaerobic digestion, gas upgrading, and wastewater treatment operationsCalibrate and troubleshoot field instrumentation including flow meters, level transmitters, pressure transmitters, gas analyzers, and pH/ORP/DO/conductivity probesMaintain electrical and controls infrastructure supporting DAF systems, aeration systems, clarifiers, dewatering equipment, polymer systems, lift stations, and process pumpsFollow all NFPA 70/70E, NEC, OSHA regulations, and arc flash and lockout/tagout (LOTO) proceduresReview electrical drawings, P&IDs and one-line diagrams for accuracy and field implementationKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAdvanced knowledge of electrical systems including controls and automation Working knowledge of rotating equipment, pumps, compressors, and mechanical systems typical of RNG or biogas facilities Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team Computer programs Microsoft office, CMMS, and SAP Background in RNG, oil & gas, or waste treatment facilities preferred Industrial electrical systems (480V/3-phase and higher) SCADA/HMI systemsEducation and ExperienceDegree or technical certification in Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation preferred 5+ years in E&I, automation, or controlsUGI Energy Services, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Additional compensation includes eligibility to earn a performance-based bonus or commissions on completed sales. This is the Company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
