Job description
Industrial ElectricianOur client is seeking a skilled and dependable Industrial Electrician to join our manufacturing team. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, machinery, and control equipment to support safe and efficient plant operations. Key Responsibilities:Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, motors, and control systemsTroubleshoot electrical issues using meters, schematics, and blueprintsRead and interpret electrical diagrams, ladder logic, and PLC systemsPerform preventative maintenance on industrial equipmentWork with variable frequency drives (VFDs), motors, encoders, and hydraulic systemsReplace PLC components and assist with basic PLC troubleshootingRun conduit and size wiring for electrical projectsFollow all safety procedures, including Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) and Arc Flash safety standardsMaintain and repair 480V three-phase electrical systems and motor startersCommunicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding maintenance issues and repairsSkills and Experience:Minimum of 4 years of industrial electrical experience preferredAssociate degree in Industrial Electricity or related field may be considered in place of some experienceStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial controls preferredAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environmentAbility to work independently and follow written and verbal instructionsWork Environment:Manufacturing/industrial plant settingExposure to heat, dust, noise, and moving machineryBenefits:Weekly pay$5 prescription drugs$5 doctor's visit copaysFree teledoctor serviceFree counseling servicesLife insurance includedVision insurance includedDental insurance includedVacation and holiday payScholarship Opportunities401(k) retirement planFree legal servicesOur unbeatable employee discount programApply now so we can hold a spot for you.
