We are seeking an experienced Overhead Hoist/Crane Mechanic to join our team in New Castle, DE.
Key Responsibilities:
-Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment.
-Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections to ensure equipment operates safely and reliably.
-Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and make necessary repairs or adjustments.
-Replace and repair components including wire rope, brakes, bearings, gears, motors, hooks, wheels, and related crane equipment.
-Perform crane installations, equipment modifications, and field service work as needed.
-Maintain accurate service records and follow all applicable safety procedures and manufacturer specifications.
Requirements:
3+ years of project management experience in hoist systems, crane installations, or industrial construction
Working knowledge of hoists, overhead cranes, rigging, and material handling equipment
Familiarity with OSHA, ANSI, and CMAA standards
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management tools, and construction software
Valid driver"s license and willingness to travel to job sites
