Industrial ElectricianFieldBridge Energy seeks a Houston, TX-based Industrial Electrician to work for one of the world's largest oilfield equipment manufacturing companies. Weekly pay + benefitsPay/Schedule: $36-38/hour | Rotating Shifts: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM OR 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM | Weekly pay every Friday | Overtime expected weekly; must be able to work Saturdays | Earn for example ~$2,178-2,299/week gross at 50hrs with OTPosition Overview: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for production equipment including high- and low-voltage systems, transformers, MCCs, power distribution panels, and plant utility systems. Diagnose electrical failures in motors, drives, PLC I/O, sensors, and control circuits while responding to production breakdowns to minimize downtime.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and repair electrical systems for production equipment including high/low-voltage systems, transformers, MCCs, power distribution panels, lighting, emergency power, and plant utility systemsDiagnose electrical failures in motors, drives, PLC I/O, sensors, and control circuits; troubleshoot VFDs, servo drives, contactors, relays, and motor starters to minimize production downtimeAssist with PLC-controlled equipment (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) and read/interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, and wiring diagramsPerform scheduled inspections on motors, panels, and wiring; check for overheating, vibration, insulation breakdown, and loose connections using predictive maintenance toolsFollow and enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures; ensure work complies with NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA, and local electrical codes with proper grounding, bonding, and arc-flash protectionRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum 4 years industrial electrician experience requiredProficient electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic experience and knowledge requiredStrong understanding of 3-phase power systemsExperience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.), VFDs, and industrial controlsPneumatic and hydraulic systems experienceAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, wiring diagrams, and technical drawingsExperience troubleshooting motors, drives, sensors, control circuits, contactors, relays, and motor starters
