Industrial ElectricianSpecialty Granules LLC is now hiring an Industrial Electrician at the Ione, CA Plant. A great 401k match, paid life insurance and AD&D, education reimbursement, and a wellness credit program!All PPE is provided by SGI and offers reimbursement for your safety boots and prescribed safety glasses.Pay Rate: $46.54/hrShift- 7pm-7amEssential Function: As the Industrial Electrician, will be responsible to install, maintain and repair a wide variety of electrical manufacturing equipment throughout the plant.Core Competencies :May perform basic mathematical operations and statistical charting or other record keeping Ability to work from service manuals, blueprints, sketches and verbal instructions Ability to work well with other employees Must possess ability with hand/power tools and test apparatus in connection with electrical equipment installation/repairJob Responsibilities:The position requires experience working with 480 volt, 3-phase power.* As directed, performs activities associated with repair, rebuilding, installation and demolition of the plant's electrical equipment and machinery, including motors, panels, generating equipment, lighting circuits, communication systems, etc. • Diagnose and correct trouble in electrical units and controls • Responsible for quality of work and the safe operation of all tools and equipment under his/her control • Responsible for good housekeeping and safety inspection of work area • May be required to perform other duties as assignedPhysical Requirements: Prolonged standing Lifting objects up to 50 lbs Computer proficiency Extended or Irregular Hours Bending Climbing Kneeling StoopedAt Specialty Granules LLC, we believe our employees are our greatest resource.
