The Duties of the electrician is to inspect, repair and maintain all electromechanical equipment and instrumentation.ResponsibilitiesInstall all new electrical and electronic equipment and electrical wiring according to the National Electrical Code and Atlas Sand electrical standardsInspect, maintain, repair and overhaul electromechanical and solid state electrical equipment, using a variety of electrical test equipment, meters, powered and non-powered tools and equipmentPerform high voltage switching and operate generators in support of operationsPerform all work safelyLead a work party in performing maintenance or repair workPerform all work in compliance with applicable codes, standards, safety and environmental regulationsResponsible for lockout/tagout proceduresOther duties as assignedQualificationsMethods, equipment and materials used in the electrical tradeKnowledge of health, safety and environmental regulationsApplicable laws, codes, regulations, policies and proceduresPrinciples of electronic theory as applied to electrical and electronic circuits, wiring and electrical equipmentTheory of operation and use of PLC units and other computer-based equipmentWorking knowledge of blueprints, shop drawings and sketchesAbility to work independently with little supervision and/or directionInstall, including programming and troubleshooting PLC based equipmentHigh School Diploma or GED requiredCompletion of a recognized vocational education program in electrical/industrial electrical/industrial training OR completion of Electrical Apprenticeship ProgramMinimum of Five (5) years' recent industrial electrician experienceMust have a valid driver's licensePhysical Requirements/Working Conditions:Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hearRequired to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, sit and climb or balanceMust regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than one hundred poundsSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focusCapable of working a rotating shift, 14 on 7 off rotating between days and nights.Must be able to tolerate conditions associated with no air conditioning or heatHow You Will Stand OutYou are team-oriented, approachable, and work well with others.You take pride in your work, ensuring accuracy and quality in every task.What You Will Love About UsBest People and Team.
