Job description
Industrial ElectricianJoin a growing sawmill and pallet manufacturing operation. We are seeking a skilled industrial electrician to join our maintenance team at a fast-paced pallet manufacturing and sawmill facility. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of hands-on electrical work and advanced troubleshooting. One day you may be programming a PLC, diagnosing a VFD issue, or planning a system upgrade. The next day you may be bending conduit, pulling wire, installing motors, or helping complete a plant improvement project.If you're the type of electrician who can move comfortably between controls work and the practical realities of an industrial environment, we'd like to talk with you.What You'll DoTroubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems.Program, modify, and diagnose PLC-controlled equipment.Configure and troubleshoot VFDs and motor control systems.Plan and execute electrical improvement projects.Install conduit, pull wire, and complete electrical installations.Troubleshoot sensors, motors, starters, relays, and control circuits.Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.Work closely with operations and maintenance personnel to improve equipment reliability.Assist with preventative maintenance and emergency repairs as needed.What We're Looking ForIndustrial electrical experience in manufacturing, sawmill, wood products, or related production environment preferred.Strong troubleshooting skills with PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, and automated equipment.Ability to manage projects from concept through installation while supporting day-to-day maintenance needs.Self-motivated individual who takes pride in equipment reliability, quality work, and supporting a team-driven operation.Willingness to perform both technical and physical aspects of the job.What We OfferCompetitive pay based on experience.Overtime opportunities.Stable, year-round employment.Opportunity to work with a wide variety of equipment and systems.A team environment where your knowledge and initiative are valued.Hourly Pay Range: $32.00 - $44.00 dollars an hour dependent on experience**pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of livingBenefits currently offered to our employees:Medical insuranceHealth savings account with company contributionDental insuranceVision insuranceBasic and voluntary life insuranceDisability insurance401(k) plan with company matchPaid vacation and holidaysStock purchase program with employee discountEducational reimbursementWellness programs and challengesOther supplemental benefitsA discretionary annual bonus based on Company and business unit performance may also be provided.The Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
