Job description
General Motors is seeking a Journeymen Electrician to support our Detroit manufacturing operations. In this role, you will install, maintain and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems, motors, controls and PLC-driven equipment that power GM’s advanced automotive and EV production lines. You will interpret blueprints and schematics, perform preventive maintenance and ensure strict compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E and GM safety standards. Working on-site with cross-functional teams, you’ll help maximize equipment uptime, support continuous improvement and contribute to a culture focused on safety, inclusion and innovation.
