Industrial Electrician | Newaygo, MI
Salary Range: $55,000 - $87,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in a manufacturing environment.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in machinery and production equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations and codes (e.g., NEC, OSHA).
Calibrate and adjust electrical instruments and equipment for optimal performance.
Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and production teams to resolve issues.
Recommended Qualifications Journeyman Electrician or equivalent licensure/certification.
Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial electrical systems within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of PLCs, VFDs, and motor control systems.
Strong understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations (e.g., NFPA 70E).
Experience with high-voltage distribution systems and transformers.
Bonus Qualifications Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens)
Arc Flash safety training and experience working with energized equipment
Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex electrical schematics and blueprints
Familiarity with robotic systems and automated manufacturing processes
Certifications in specialized electrical fields (e.g., thermography, vibration analysis)
