Industrial ElectricianTradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Industrial Electricians for projects located in or around Reading, PA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $35/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are an Electrician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!Job Scope:Install, wire, test, and commission industrial electrical equipment and systemsPerform preventative and corrective maintenance on motors, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, PLC-related equipment, sensors, and control systemsTroubleshoot electrical faults using drawings, schematics, meters, and diagnostic equipmentInspect electrical equipment and identify potential failures, hazards, and maintenance requirementsRepair or replace breakers, contactors, relays, switches, wiring, and other electrical componentsRead and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and equipment manualsPerform electrical testing, insulation resistance testing, continuity checks, and system inspectionsAssist with equipment installations, upgrades, modifications, and plant improvement projectsRespond to electrical breakdowns and emergency service needs to minimize downtimeCoordinate with mechanical, instrumentation, automation, and production teams to resolve equipment issuesMaintain electrical tools, test equipment, spare parts, and work areas in safe operating conditionEnsure all work complies with applicable electrical codes, standards, permits, and company proceduresFollow lockout/tagout (LOTO), PPE, and all site-specific safety requirementsRequirements:Previous industrial electrical experienceExperience troubleshooting motors, controls, VFDs, MCCs, PLC-related equipment, and industrial electrical systemsAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentationStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsExperience performing preventative and corrective maintenance in an industrial environmentFamiliarity with electrical testing equipment and proceduresStrong commitment to safety and quality workmanshipMust be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a teamBe Safe from fraud!
