Job description
We’re seeking an Industrial Product Engineer to support the transition of products from design to production. This role focuses on ensuring manufacturability, maintaining accurate product data in PLM/ERP systems, and coordinating across Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to deliver production-ready solutions.

=> Frequent travel to our California site should be expected during the first 3 to 6 months.
Key Responsibilities
Convert design outputs into manufacturing-ready documentation (BOMs, routings, work instructions)
Support prototype, pilot, and production builds
Ensure alignment with design for manufacturing and assembly (DFM/DFA)
Maintain and manage product data in PLM and ERP systems
Coordinate across Engineering, Supply Chain, and Production to meet project timelines
Identify and resolve industrialization and supply chain risks
Support supplier selection and oversee prototype/pre-series builds
Manage product configurations and ensure alignment with manufacturing capabilities
Evaluate engineering changes (ECR/ECO) for cost, lead time, and production impact
Contribute to cost tracking and continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related)
5+ years of experience in industrialization, NPI, or manufacturing/product engineering
Experience with PLM and/or ERP systems
Strong understanding of BOMs, routings, and technical drawings
Organized and detail-oriented
Able to manage multiple priorities
Strong cross-functional communication
Experience with complex or configurable products (high-mix, low-volume)
