About the Role
Our client in Welkom is seeking an Industrial Engineering Specialist to drive improvements in efficiency and productivity across their operations. This role is critical for analyzing complex operational data, developing strategic solutions, and implementing changes that enhance workflow and reduce waste. You will work closely with operational teams to ensure that best practices are adopted and maintained, contributing significantly to the company's overall performance and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed analyses of existing industrial processes to identify bottlenecks and areas for optimization.
Design, develop, and implement new operational procedures and systems to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop and maintain performance metrics and dashboards to track key operational indicators.
Collaborate with production and management teams to align engineering solutions with strategic business goals.
Provide training and support to operational staff on implemented process changes and best practices.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field.
At least 3 years of experience in an industrial engineering or operations improvement role.
Solid understanding and practical application of lean principles and statistical process control.
Experience with process modeling and simulation tools.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
