Managed Inventory Leader to join our Rexel team located in Rochester Hills, MI!
The VMI Sales Specialist is responsible for enhancing and improving service levels on existing Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) relationships. Responsible for promoting our VMI Services to new accounts including rolling out any new programs with existing client solutions specialists. The VMI Sale Specialist will also develop and maintain a regular scheduled inventory process to ensure the customer’s service levels are met.
Role out all new VMI accounts
~ Promote VMI internally within the sales organization
~ Meet with customer to match VMI inventory to customer requirements
~ The ability to competently perform all the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, demonstrate commitment to effective customer service delivery, integrity, and the ability to work productively as a member of a team or work group are basic requirements of all positions at Rexel USA.
4 Year / Bachelors Degree - Preferred
Basic electrical material knowledge
Knowledge of Microsoft suite including Excel and Word
Customer service focused
Walk: Must be able to move about inside/outside office or work location - Frequently – 21% to 50%
Operates a computer and other office machinery - Constantly – at least 51%
Must be able to crouch down to stock shelves, pick up boxes, or position oneself to maintain computers in the lab/under desks/in server closet - Constantly – at least 51%
Must be able to ascend/descend on a ladder, forklift, pallet jack, or other warehouse equipment - Constantly – at least 51%
Travels to offsite locations - Constantly – at least 51%
