Cardinal Staffing is interviewing for a Industrial Forklift Repair Technician/Mechanic position in Holly, MI . We're looking for candidates who have experience to le for Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and performance issues specifically with propane and diesel forklifts.
Pay: $23 - $30 per hour depending on experience.
Shift: Monday - Friday 7 am - 3:30pm plus occasional overtime.
Job Description: Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Diagnose issues with propane and diesel forklifts.
Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance (PMs) according to manufacturer specifications to prevent equipment downtime.
Repair and replace components as necessary.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs.
Ensure all forklifts are in safe working condition and meet OSHA safety and operational standards.
Fully participate in and support the Fabrication Quality System.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures especially concerning safety and personal conduct.
Perform all other duties as listed in procedures and or assigned by managers.
Requirements: 1+ years of hands-on experience as a forklift mechanic, industrial maintenance mechanic, or heavy equipment technician preferred, but not required.
Good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
Must possess own tools.
Ability to perform physical labor, lift up to 50 lbs., and stand or bend for extended periods.
Must have basic reading, writing and math skills.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, twist, and any other movements required to do so
