Job description
General Motors is seeking a skilled Mechanical Journeyperson to perform machine repair in a high-volume manufacturing environment. In this role, you will diagnose and repair complex mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues on production equipment, perform preventive and predictive maintenance, and support safe, reliable operation of GM’s manufacturing lines. You will read blueprints, use precision tools, collaborate with production and engineering teams, and contribute to continuous improvement while working in a culture focused on safety, integrity and innovation.
