We operate around the clock, and we’re looking for a hands-on engineer who can own the reliability of CNC machinery, spin-balance rigs, and process equipment in our Steam Turbine line—while orchestrating vendors, projects, and people to make improvements stick.Is This You?Do you enjoy hunting down elusive CNC or PLC faults and turning them into documented fixes?Can you translate lifecycle cost and operational risk into smart repair/replace/upgrade calls?Are you comfortable leading projects as an individual contributor, coordinating with outside integrators?Do you thrive in a high-collaboration environment, managing turnover communication across shifts?Will you build vendor partnerships that raise capability and speed up service response?What You’ll TackleTroubleshoot and repair CNC machinery, spin-balance test facilities, and manufacturing process equipment for the Steam Turbine product line.Lead projects to enhance equipment capabilities; coordinate systems integration with external vendors.Assess maintenance spend and recommend repair, replacement, or upgrade paths using data on equipment condition, lifecycle cost, and production impact.Design proactive maintenance strategies for critical assets to improve reliability and mitigate risk.Keep stakeholders aligned—facilitate daily collaboration, manage shift handoffs, and resolve issues with managers and internal customers.Author specifications and purchase requisitions that correctly identify required components and services.Source new vendors and manage existing facility service providers to support projects and repairs.Share new methods, propose integration opportunities, and provide off-shift support with occasional call-ins.What You’ll BringPreferred AAS/BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or similar); equivalent blends of experience, education, and certifications welcome.10+ years in a manufacturing setting with advanced knowledge of CNC machines, PLCs, and process equipment; highly experienced applicants may be considered for a higher salary grade.Proven root cause analysis capability; AutoCAD or Siemens NX drafting experience preferred.Professional English fluency, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to present confidently at all organizational levels.Travel up to 10% (domestic and international).Growth, Team, and ImpactOur Gas Services division advances low- and zero-emission power through service, modernization, and digitalization across gas and steam turbines and generators.
