Job description
Industrial Maintenance ElectricianWe are hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician for a 90-day project supporting a large manufacturing operation.This is a hands-on industrial maintenance role working with manufacturing machinery, electrical controls, motors, VFDs, PLC components, and plant electrical systems.What You'll DoTroubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial manufacturing equipmentPerform preventive, corrective, and predictive electrical maintenanceTroubleshoot 24VDC, 120VAC, 240VAC, and 480VAC electrical systemsDiagnose and replace electrical components including:MotorsVFDsBreakers and fusesSolid-state relaysPower suppliesTroubleshoot PLC and instrumentation components including:I/O cardsThermocouplesEncodersLight curtainsSafety scannersUse electrical testing equipment including multimeters, amp meters, meggers, circuit tracers, and thermal camerasAssist with equipment rebuilds, plant shutdowns, and new equipment installationsRespond to equipment breakdowns and help minimize production downtimeFollow NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and plant electrical safety requirementsWhat We're Looking ForPrevious industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong troubleshooting skills with 480V industrial equipmentExperience troubleshooting motors and VFDsBasic understanding of PLC Ladder LogicFamiliarity with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and/or Omron PLCsAbility to safely diagnose electrical and control-system problemsKnowledge of NEC, NFPA, and OSHA electrical safety requirementsAbility to work independently and assist the maintenance team as neededImportantThis is a temporary 90-day project.Candidates should be comfortable stepping into an active manufacturing environment and troubleshooting industrial equipment with minimal supervision.Starting Pay: $25-28/hr
