Industrial Maintenance Electrician (Multi-Craft)Hourly job posting template Pay rate: $37.50/hrCategory/shift: Hourly full-time (12 hour rotating schedule)Physical location: Yuma box facility2641 E 24th StYuma, AZ 85365The job you will perform:Maintain production equipmentFollowing all safety rules and practicesPerform preventative maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components; and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levelsPerform emergency / break down maintenance as necessary to support plant operationsAccurately read / use gauges, measurement and test equipmentPerform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations as neededInstall wire and conduit for newly installed and existing equipment such as conveyors, programmable controllers, converting and corrugating machineryReplace faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, motors, and position sensing devices such as proximity switch timers, scanners and photo electric devicesDiagnose and repair / replace faulty electronic components such as printed circuit boardsSafely and efficiently troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems that include hydraulic, pneumatic, power transmission, and conveyor systemsRead electrical block diagrams, schematics as well as PLC ladder logicUse basic hand tools, power tools, electrical testing equipment and computersMaintain clean and organized work areas, and cleanup work areas upon completion of assigned tasksBe available to work all shifts as well as weekends, call-ins, holidays and overtime as necessaryAccurately and completely prepare and maintain maintenance records and other paperworkSelf-motivated, able to follow through to completion with assigned responsibilitiesMaintain teamwork with other associatesPerform other duties as assigned by supervisionMust wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE)Safely lift / move up to 75 pounds during regular work shiftUtilize basic shop math and inspecting skillsThe skills you will bring:5 years manufacturing experience preferredGood attendance and punctualityHigh school diploma, or GED equivalentMust be 18 years of age or olderElectrical aptitudeTroubleshooting expertiseMechanical knowledge and experienceExperience in a corrugated facility is preferred but not requiredExperience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is preferred but not required.Must be able to pass an Advanced Industrial Skills and Instrumentation / Electrician Knowledge Assessments prior to interview processConsent to a background check and pre-employment physical / drug screenVerifiable, stable work historyFlexible to work as neededMust be self-driven
