Job description
HNI Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support oak laminate manufacturing operations. You will own equipment reliability for laminate production lines, plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance, and respond to breakdowns to minimize downtime. Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical and basic electrical issues, coordinating repairs with technicians and vendors, updating CMMS records, and driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, and throughput. You’ll collaborate closely with production, engineering, and safety teams in a fast-paced, lean manufacturing environment focused on innovation and operational excellence.
