Industrial Maintenance Technician
Position Summary
The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment to ensure reliable operations and minimize downtime. This role supports a safe and efficient work environment within an industrial pipe manufacturing and distribution facility.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Inspect equipment to identify potential issues and prevent unexpected downtime.
Perform equipment repairs, adjustments, and installations as needed.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, service documentation, and repair reports.
Work closely with operations teams to resolve equipment issues and improve equipment reliability.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA requirements.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform emergency repairs when required.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of industrial maintenance technician experience.
Experience with industrial equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic skills.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and industrial equipment repair.
Strong safety mindset and commitment to workplace safety.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Night shift availability required.
Experience
Experience in industrial manufacturing, pipe, steel, fabrication, or industrial distribution environments.
Familiarity with motors, pumps, conveyors, hydraulic systems, and production equipment.
Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawings.
