Industrial Maintenance Technician - 2nd and 3rd shifts

Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shifts as scheduled (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM or 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
Onsite in Massillon
$28.95 plus $1.50 shift differential
Must be drug-free and committed to safety and food quality standards
What You'll Do: Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration systems including ammonia/glycol chillers, DX units, and phoenix units
Service pneumatic systems such as air units, Gardner Denver units, and air compressors
Work on electronic systems like PLC panels and electrical panels ranging from 480V to 120/277V, ensuring all electrical components function correctly
Maintain and troubleshoot water treatment systems, high/low-pressure pumps, filters, cooling towers, and waste water systems
Conduct maintenance and repairs on boiler systems, including gas lines, steam lines, and deaerator tanks
Respond swiftly to emergency repairs, ensuring safety and minimal downtime
Adhere to all food safety and personal safety protocols while maintaining high-quality standards
Required Skills: 1-3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial setting
Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting up to 75 lbs, climbing, bending, and standing for extended periods
Proficiency in using manual, power, and safety tools
Basic understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting (experience with electric meters, ladder logic, or diagnosing motor issues is a plus)
Familiarity with handling chemicals safely as per SOPs and SDS
Preferred Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus
1-3 years of hands-on maintenance or technical experience in an industrial environment
