Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanical Maintenance Technician with a strong millwright background to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the optimal operation and longevity of our production machinery and equipment. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and install new machinery.
Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment according to established schedules.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
Repair and overhaul machinery components, including bearings, gears, motors, and hydraulic systems.
Install, modify, and relocate industrial machinery and equipment, following blueprints and engineering specifications.
Utilize welding, fabrication, and machining skills to repair or create machine parts.
Collaborate with other maintenance technicians and production personnel to optimize equipment performance.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations and procedures.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and equipment reliability.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification .
Minimum of (number) years of experience as a millwright or industrial mechanic.
Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
Proficiency in welding, fabrication, and machining techniques.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
Qualifications
Experience in (specific industry or equipment).
Knowledge of PLC systems and industrial automation would be a plus
Certified Millwright or related certifications.
