Starting Rate: $30.33 hourly
Night Shift Premium $1.50/hour
Schedule: 2-2-3 NIGHTS, 6pm - 6am
Two pay increases within a year, up to $1.00

What you'll be responsible for each day:
The Maintenance General position is responsible for keeping the plant running and in compliance with all rules/regulations by using safe methods of equipment repair and upkeep.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot equipment for electrical and mechanical systems.
Install, update and repair equipment.
Work closely with production to minimize downtime while maintaining high quality.
Repair or replace valves and pumps (seals, steams, O rings, seats, bearings, etc.) as needed.
Perform basic electrical wiring (switches, outlets, starter, motor leads, etc.) as needed.
Perform basic pipe fitting as directed.
Handle all equipment and chemicals safely.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain a good working knowledge of all process areas in the plant.
Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.
Safety ProtocolStop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.
Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
Support safety policies and programs.

Where you'll be working:
Our Little Chute, WI, plant is home to about 140 employees. This facility is a top manufacturer of IQF sticks that are supplied to the appetizer industry. Next to the plant is our well-known Simon's Specialty Cheese store, which has about 20 employees. Simon's is a Wisconsin-themed store, with everything from meats and cheese to clothing and craft spirits.
Agropur's US operations produce 1 billion pounds of quality, award-winning cheese each year.
