Industrial Manufacturing ElectricianJoin ENTEK in Terre Haute, Indiana. ENTEK is excited to welcome an Industrial Manufacturing Electrician to our team in Terre Haute, Indiana. This role is designed to support multiple skill levels, from developing technicians to experienced maintenance professionals. As an Industrial Manufacturing Electrician, you'll support the operation, maintenance, and reliability of plant equipment. Depending on your experience level, you may assist with routine maintenance tasks or take a lead role in diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. In this role you will:Reviews job orders to determine work priorities, while establishing or adjusting work procedures to meet production schedules as well as emergencies as they ariseProvides mentorship and a lead by example attitude and productivityMaintains logbooks suitable for inspection by local, county, and/or state electrical inspectors for all electrical work performedPerforms routine electrical maintenance as requiredUpdate/Redline Drawings, one lines, panel schedulesSpecifies and drafts lists for purchasing all electrical parts needed to complete assigned work as well as correcting any electrical equipment deficiencies that are observedTroubleshoots AC and DC drives, PLC-based control systems, and instrumentationFluent in electrical schematics and PLC ladder-logic listingsCreate and Interpret 1-line drawingsAdopt and exemplify the ENTEK culture and core valuesPlans and perform jobs of installing and maintaining a variety of electrical equipment such as control panels, switchboards, junction boxes, switches, etc.Reports to Site Electrical SupervisorWill interact with employees of all levels of the companyCommunication and relationship building with customers and outside vendors required.We're seeking mechanically inclined individuals with strong troubleshooting skills who are motivated to learn, grow, and contribute to a high-performing maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be well-rounded with approximately 10 years' experience in a fully functioning manufacturing facility. The candidate must be fluent with AC and DC drives, PLC-based control systems and instrumentation. The noise level in the production facility is usually loud, and this employee will frequently be exposed to the production area.The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and vibration.Safety Equipment:Safety glasses, respirator, and hearing protection, steel toed shoes.Must comply with the Company's Drug-Free Workplace policies.Your Work Schedule:This is a full-time, non-exempt position working Monday through Friday day shift.
