Job description
Industrial PainterThis is a contract position through the end of November with the potential to become a full-time role. The position involves operating air-assisted and conventional spray equipment to accurately apply coatings to structural steel and pipe. It also includes maintaining an accurate inventory of coatings, solvents, and related materials.ResponsibilitiesOperate air-assisted and conventional spray equipment to apply coatings to structural steel and pipe.Maintain an accurate inventory of coatings, solvents, and related materials.Use basic power tools such as drills and grinders for surface preparation.Operate sandblasting equipment to prepare parts for painting.Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.Perform routine maintenance on painting and sandblasting equipment.Complete additional tasks as assigned.Lift 50+ lbs. as needed.Essential Skills1+ year of labor experience.Ability to use hand tools.Intermediate math skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsNo prior painting experience is required, but it will increase pay.Experience with painting, general labor, hand tools, mechanical assembly, spray guns, and production.Why Work Here?Enjoy the benefits offered through Aerotek, which include comprehensive benefits and support for your professional growth.Work EnvironmentThe work environment is a manufacturing facility, specifically at REC Silicon. You must be comfortable working in a manlift.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Butte, MT.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
