Job description
Industrial Painter IIAs an Industrial Painter II, you will operate a spray painter or other equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metals or precast products and are trained to mix paints and other required solutions.ResponsibilitiesParticipate in Safe Start daily meetings.Follow all safe work practices and procedures.Maintain a clean and safe work area following 5S standards.Carry out verbal and written instructions and complete jobs in a timely fashion.Read and interpret work instructions, then execute work per instructions.Ability to independently set-up, operate and perform maintenance of latex air sprayers and other paint related equipment.Trained to mix paint colors per specification and apply graffiti protection coating.Work with quality and production teams to identify areas for process improvement.Other duties as assigned.Experience, Education, etc.High School Diploma or equivalent preferred3 years' experience painting in a manufacturing environmentSkills & AbilitiesAbility to accurately read a tape measure.Ability to work in a high paced environment while maintaining safety standards and following all safe work practices.A focus on prioritization, time efficiency, problem solving and teamwork.Ability to exert 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 30 pounds of force frequently and 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Ability to wear a full faced respirator and work inside a paint booth.Good visual acuity.CompetenciesSafety OrientedTeamworkIntegrity & TrustAdaptabilityAccountabilityAttention to DetailCommunicationCustomer FocusContinuous ImprovementThe BenefitsMedical, dental, vision benefits the first day of the month after hire.Market-leading 401(k) program with company match, no vesting period.10 paid holidays per year and vacation accrual planPaid Parental Leave.100% tuition reimbursement.Career development and advancement opportunities.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities
