2nd Shift Industrial Painter & Team LeadEmployment Type: Full-Time | On-Site Schedule: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM (10-hour or 12-hour shift schedules available) Industry: Industrial Painting | Aerospace & DefenseLead the Team. Build What Matters.We're looking for an experienced 2nd Industrial Painter & Team Lead to join our industrial painting team supporting work in the aerospace and defense industry.This is an opportunity for an experienced industrial painter who is ready to take the next step into a hands-on leadership role. You'll help lead a team of four, support training and development, maintain quality standards, and keep communication strong across shifts.If you have experience in industrial painting, automotive painting, or defense-related painting and have successfully led a small team, we want to hear from you!What You'll DoLead and support a team of painters during your shift.Perform industrial painting and related production duties.Train team members on painting processes, procedures, and quality expectations.Conduct quality checks to ensure work meets established standards.Help keep production moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule.Communicate openly and consistently with the first-shift supervisor regarding production, quality, staffing, and any issues that arise.Set a strong example for teamwork, accountability, safety, and attention to detail.Help identify and address quality or production concerns before they become larger issues.What We're Looking ForPrevious experience in industrial painting, preferably in automotive, aerospace, defense, or a similar manufacturing environment.Demonstrated leadership experience, ideally supervising or leading a team of approximately four employees.Experience training employees and helping team members improve their skills.Experience performing quality checks or inspections.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with supervisors and team members.Dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.A hands-on attitude and willingness to lead by example.Schedule & Work Structure3:30 AM – 12:00 AM shiftMultiple scheduling options may be available, including:4x10s schedule4x12s schedulePotential weekend overtime20% 2nd shift differentialWhy Join Us?Full benefits packageOpportunities for internal advancementLeadership responsibility and the opportunity to grow your careerHands-on role in an aerospace and defense manufacturing environmentOpportunity to make an immediate impact on team performance, quality, and productionReady to Take the Next Step?If you're an experienced industrial painter who is ready to put your skills to work in a 2nd Painter & Shift Lead role, apply today.Resumes can be confidentially sent to Call for further detail.
