Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented industrial spray paint technician to join our wholesale sign manufacturing team. In this role, you will utilize advanced surface preparation techniques, state-of-the-art spray equipment, and proven painting methods to inspect, prepare, blend, and finish signage surfaces. You will work with various substrates, including aluminum and plastic, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets both aesthetic and durability standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to safety. While prior spray-painting experience is a plus, we are eager to train motivated individuals who are ready to learn and grow with our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Paint and finish various substrates, such as aluminum and plastic, to meet quality standards.
Set up and operate blast pot and nozzle equipment for surface preparation.
Mix and apply paints or coatings using spray equipment and other tools.
Notify managers of inventory needs for paints, coatings, and supplies.
Follow all safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Utilize strong vision abilities, including close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment, to ensure precision in all tasks.
Qualifications:
Previous spray-painting experience is a plus, but not required-training is provided for motivated candidates.
Ability to work with various substrates and coatings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
Willingness to follow safety protocols and work in a team-oriented environment.
Job Details:
This is an on-site position. Office hours are Monday - Thursday - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
This is a full-time position. Training will be provided to ensure your success in the role.
Compensation: Up to $25.00 per hour, based on experience and skill level
