Dual Role & Pay Paths: Seeking both an Industrial Spray Painter ($24.00 - $26.00/hr) and an Industrial Paint Shop Lead ($26.00 - $30.00/hr) based on technical finishing skills and floor leadership history.

40-Year Zero-Layoff History: Direct-hire role with a premier green-technology equipment manufacturer offering unmatched long-term stability and continuous market growth.

Work-Life Balance & Culture: Fixed 1st shift hours (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Mon–Fri) in a clean, state-of-the-art facility free of corporate drama and politics.

Core Technical Skills: Hands-on spray gun operation, pneumatic prep tools, precise fraction-level measuring, and spray booth coating application on custom steel structures.

Strict Requirements: U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency (Green Card) required; residence within a dependable 45-minute daily commute of Richfield, WI.

Whether you are a dedicated spray painter or an experienced team lead ready to take ownership of a shop floor, this direct-hire position offers a rewarding long-term home. Our client manufactures industry-leading environmental technologies that help global businesses eliminate pollution and cut fossil fuel costs. Because their products pay for themselves in under two years, demand remains sky-high—resulting in zero layoffs across the company's 40-year history. Joining a supportive, family-friendly culture, you will work with clean machinery, high-quality finishes, and a team that genuinely values trade craftsmanship.

What You Will Be Doing (Daily Responsibilities)

Surface Preparation: Utilize pneumatic air tools, sanders, and grinders to clean and prep raw steel surfaces for maximum coating adhesion.

Spray Booth Coating: Apply high-durability primers and topcoat finishes to custom metal components using industrial liquid spray equipment inside dedicated booths.

Precision Inspection: Continuously measure and check product dimensions with a physical measuring tape to verify compliance with exact client standards.

Workflow & Daily Scheduling (Lead Role): Lead daily shop-floor execution, prioritize job queues, and organize team tasks to meet weekly output goals.

Training & Quality Control (Lead Role): Onboard newer painters, enforce shop safety protocols, and perform final visual quality inspections on all completed assemblies.

Equipment Care & Maintenance: Perform routine booth filter changes, clean paint guns, and maintain pressure lines, pumps, and regulators.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements & Qualifications)

Spray Gun & Air Tool Mastery: Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience using industrial spray paint guns and pneumatic tools in a shop setting.

Leadership Background (Lead Role): 2 to 5 years of experience leading, supervising, or directing teams in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Tape Measurement Literacy: Complete proficiency reading standard physical measuring tapes quickly and accurately down to exact fractions.

Work Ethic & Tenure: Solid, dependable work record showing multi-year commitment and stability with previous employers.

Location Requirements: US Citizen or Green Card holder residing within a comfortable 45-minute daily driving distance of Richfield, WI.

Preferred Technical Assets (Bonus Skills)

Catalyst & Solvent Mixing: Experience calculating fluid viscosity, mixing two-part epoxies/polyurethanes, and managing pot-life limits.

Shop Logistics & 5S: Familiarity with 5S lean organization and managing paint inventory, filters, and booth consumables.

Overhead Crane & Rigging: Ability to operate overhead bridge cranes and forklifts to position heavy steel fabrications inside paint booths safely.
