At Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing (RLL), winning begins in the garage. We are constantly looking for experienced, passionate race mechanics to join our IndyCar Mechanic Talent Pool - a proactive recruiting pipeline that ensures we are prepared when the next opportunity arises.
This is not an immediate opening, but by submitting your resume, you will be considered for future roles that align with your expertise. Whether due to team growth, internal promotions, or new racing programs, we regularly review our talent pool when assembling the next evolution of our crew.
Requirements
THE ROLE OF AN RLL INDYCAR MECHANIC
When opportunities arise, our mechanics take on essential responsibilities that include:
Racecar Build and Maintenance
Trackside Execution and Travel
Safety, Standards, and Tools
WHO THRIVES HERE
We're looking for mechanics who offer: Proven experience in IndyCar, IMSA, F2/F3, or other high-performance racing
Extensive technical knowledge and practical mechanical skills
Composure under pressure with outstanding attention to detail
Commitment to uniformity, fit and finish, and proactive problem-solving
Willingness to travel and a team-oriented mindset
