Bronx, New York - Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner Opportunity
Clinical Role: Permanent, full-time positionSeeking a board certified Nurse PractitionerMultispecialty group settingNursing home-based infectious disease careMust have at least 6 months of infectious disease experienceH1B visa sponsorship availableJ1 Waiver and CONRAD 30 candidates welcomeSpanish-speaking preferred (not required) Position Overview: Join a dynamic, mission-driven team delivering comprehensive infectious disease careCollaborate with an interdisciplinary team across long-term care and acute settingsOpportunity to make a meaningful clinical impact while growing professionally Responsibilities: Provide infectious disease consults in long-term care settingsManage infections including HIV, Hep B/C, pneumonia, UTIs, sepsis risk, wound infections, and multidrug-resistant organismsOrder and interpret labs, cultures, and imagingPrescribe and manage antimicrobial therapy (IV and oral antibiotics)Collaborate with ID physicians and interdisciplinary teamsSupport infection control practices and antimicrobial stewardship initiativesEducate staff and families on infection prevention and treatment plansMaintain accurate EMR documentation and regulatory compliance Qualifications: Active, unrestricted NP licenseDEA requiredBLS/CPR certification requiredMaster's degree in Nursing from an accredited NP programMinimum 6 months of relevant experience (LTC/SNF preferred; hospital/outpatient considered)EMR familiarity preferred (Sigma, Visual, PCC - training available)Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills Compensation & Benefits: Salary range: $130,000-$150,000 annuallyComprehensive benefits package Organization Information: Large multispecialty group with locations across NYCOver 140 physicians and 100+ advanced practice providersStrong administrative and operational support Area Information - Bronx, New York: Bronx offers a dynamic urban environment with access to world-class healthcare, dining, and entertainmentEasy access to Manhattan and the rest of NYC via extensive public transportationHome to Yankee Stadium and the Bronx ZooDiverse communities with rich cultural experiences and food scenesIdeal for providers seeking an urban practice with a broad, diverse patient population What RecruitWell Provides: A single point of contact for communicationCoordination of interviews and offer processSupport throughout the hiring process RecruitWell's Core Values: Open communicationSense of urgencyTeamworkAccountabilityDriven to winHigher consciousness
