Job description

The work of a U.S. Army Infectious Disease Officer provides information and research about infectious diseases to benefit the Army. If you are a professional in the field of infectious diseases and want to combine your interests in ensuring healthy populations with a desire to serve in the U.S. Army, a career as an Army Infectious Disease Officer might be the one for you. Through research, you will work to confirm, diagnose, treat and control the transmission of infectious diseases within the military and communities you support. You will participate in humanitarian missions to address the spread of infectious diseases and find new ways to prevent them.
