Opportunity:
Physician - Infectious Disease
Job Details:
Provide inpatient consultations at an acute care medical center
Manage outpatient office responsibilities including HIV and Hepatitis C patient treatment
Assist with the Antimicrobial Stewardship program
Support infection control activities and hospital epidemiology programs
Collaborate system-wide with over 20 Infectious Disease physician colleagues
Participate in post-graduate medical education for residents and medical students
Eligible for appointment at the Assistant Professor level at Quinnipiac University
No primary care responsibilities
Active Hospitalist program in place to support inpatient care
Shared call arrangement with other Infectious Disease physicians
Reports to the Division Director of Infectious Disease
BC/BE Infectious Disease physician licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of CT
Compensation:
Employed salary with benefits.
