Reporting to the Division Director of Infectious Disease, the Specialist will be part of a department with responsibilities that include: * Inpatient consultations at St Vincent’s Medical Center * Outpatient office including outpatient HIV and Hepatitis C patient treatment * Assist with Antimicrobial Stewardship program * Assist with activities of infection control and the hospital epidemiology programs * System-wide collaboration with over 20 ID physician colleagues * Post graduate medical education for residents as well as medical students * Appointment to Quinnipiac University at the Assistant Professor level * NO primary care * Active Hospitalist program to care for inpatients * Shared call with other ID physicians HHCMG isa physician-managed, multi-specialty group affiliated with Hartford HealthCare, Connecticut’slargest integrated health care system. While compensation is presented as an hourly rate for consistency across our postings, this position is paid on a salary basis. The hiring range reflects a good faith estimate of pay for this position as of the posting date. Actual pay will be determined based on qualifications, location, internal equity, and other factors that may include hire bonuses, incentive pay plans, loan repayment, administrative stipends, or relocation.
