Infectious Disease Opportunity - Location: Flint, MI - Detroit 65m - Full-Time, permanent position - H1b Visa Sponsorship - AcademicPosition Highlights: Core faculty role in the Internal Medicine residency program Inpatient ID consult service and hospital-based outpatient ID clinic Opportunities in HIV and Hepatitis C care Lead or participate in research, quality improvement, antimicrobial stewardship, and infection control activities Required participation in program meetings and educational events Qualifications: MD or DO from an accredited medical school Board Certified or Board Eligible in Adult Infectious Diseases Strong leadership, communication, and teaching skills Comfortable working with a diverse, urban patient population Interest in HIV and Hepatitis C care preferred Academic Appointment: Faculty appointment through Michigan State University College of Human Medicine Academic rank commensurate with experience Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary with signing bonus Relocation assistance and CME allowance 4 weeks vacation + up to 10 days CME Full benefits package Loan Forgiveness: Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) About Medical Center: Level I Trauma Center and regional referral site Serves a population of over 500,000 across mid- and northeastern Michigan Home to multiple regional specialties including Pediatrics, NICU, and Burn Unit Community Perks - Flint, MI: College-town amenities and strong arts and cultural scene Access to outdoor recreation including hiking, biking, kayaking Short drive to Detroit, Lansing, and Ann Arbor Affordable living with an emerging downtown food and entertainment scene
