Job description
Locums Infectious Disease coverage in Indiana with outpatient clinic hours only, Monday through Friday. This need includes light phone call for assigned patients with a defined response expectation.
Highlights
Outpatient clinic only schedule, Monday through Friday: September 28th thru October 2nd October 19th thru October 23rd
Light call, assigned patients only, typically 1 to 2 phone consults with 24 hour response time
Specific coverage blocks in late September and October
Will consider physicians pending licensure with an active IMLC LOQ
Practice Setting
Outpatient Infectious Disease clinic
Volume runs about 20 to 30 patients per shift
Support includes RN, MA, and APP
Connected to a level 2 trauma center
Schedule
Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm
No in house shift coverage listed, clinic only
Call is for assigned patients, 24 hour response time
Cases and Procedures
Required, management of vascular access devices and central venous catheters
Preferred, microscopic specimen evaluation
Preferred, intrathecal administration of anti-infective agents
Preferred, aspiration of abscess
Requirements
Must be an MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years in Infectious Disease
Indiana license required, will wait with active IMLC LOQ only
BLS required
