Infeed Material OperatorCome Build Your Career at Pactiv Evergreen! Do you have experience with extrusion and/or plastics manufacturing? We're looking for you! Immediately Hiring Infeed Material Operators! Weekly pay $21.85/hr or more depending upon experience (with an additional $1 per hour as shift differential)Available Shift:7AM-7PM DAYS 2-2-3 Schedule7PM-7AM NIGHTS 2-2-3 ScheduleOverview:Services flow of material to extruders for processing by performing the following duties.Job Duties:Responsible for operating and troubleshooting all material blending systems.Responsible for cleaning all material system filters, socks and canisters.Responsible for monitoring regrind usage and making adjustments based on departmental goals.Responsible for maintaining material flow to all machines within your area of responsibility.Required to certify and drive a standup forkliftComplete all required paperwork.Identify and properly label all materials put into gaylords for later use.Maintain material hoses; replacing when necessary.Maintain housekeeping of all blender mezzanines, silo room, compressor area and back aisle up to the railroad tracks.Clean silo access rooms.Write work orders for items in need of repair.Communicate with following shift and operators.Follow company safety procedures and policies.Perform company safety procedures and policies.Perform all other assigned duties.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED equivalent preferredMust have basic math skillsMust be able to work 30' off the groundMust have good communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with people at all levels within the organizationMust have the ability to lift 75 lbs occasionally as job demandsMust have ability to work standing or walking, in a hot environment, for 12 hours with appropriate breaks.Company BenefitsWhat You'll Get From UsWith safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
