Role: Manager, Influencer & Organic Social Marketing, Brand
Location : North NJ (Morris County); Hybrid schedule 3x/week in office (non-negotiable)
Comp : $130-150K base + bonus
*Must have relevant experience within or at an agency supporting a CPG, health & wellness, supplements, beauty, food/beverage, or retail brand. DTC or Direct to Consumer experience is a plus*
About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced social marketer to lead an integrated mix of influencer marketing, organic social, and community. This role will shape how the brand connects with consumers across channels, developing engaging content and creator programs that build awareness, strengthen relationships, drive discovery, and deliver measurable results
Key Responsibilities
Influencer & Creator Marketing
Develop and execute influencer and creator programs from initial concept through measurement, including briefs, creator identification, content reviews, usage rights and campaign reporting.
Partner with media and cross-functional teams on opportunities to extend high-performing creator content through paid amplification.
Track program performance and apply learnings to continuously improve creator strategy, content and engagement.
Owned Content
Develop and execute an integrated content strategy across owned channels, including website, blog, organic social, community and creator-led content.
Manage the editorial calendar, translating broader brand and business priorities into channel-specific content plans and campaigns.
Lead organic social strategy and execution, including content planning, publishing cadence, platform best practices and ongoing performance optimization.
Guide website and blog content development, from topics and creative briefs through updates and optimization, supporting brand storytelling, consumer education and discoverability.
Partner with internal teams, agencies and creative partners to develop compelling social, creator and user-generated content.
Ensure content follows platform best practices and appropriate standards related to brand safety, accessibility, SEO, disclosures and compliance.
Manage multiple projects, timelines, budgets, external partners, approvals and deliverables from planning through launch.
Community
Help shape the brand's approach to community engagement, including response guidelines, proactive engagement, social listening and escalation processes.
Stay close to social, creator, search and cultural trends, identifying relevant opportunities for the brand to participate in consumer conversations.
Use community and audience insights to inform content strategy and broader brand decisions.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, journalism or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
5+ years of experience across influencer/creator marketing and organic social media.
Experience managing owned content for a consumer-facing brand , including organic social and website, blog or other digital content.
Hands-on experience developing content across multiple channels, with an understanding of brand voice, audience engagement, user experience and performance optimization .
Experience supporting or managing influencer and creator programs from planning and briefing through execution, measurement and reporting.
Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt content for different audiences, platforms and objectives.
Comfortable using social, content and web analytics to evaluate performance, identify insights and inform future strategy.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders and external partners simultaneously.
Collaborative, proactive and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment .
Demonstrated professional maturity and sound judgment , with the ability to independently drive work forward and communicate effectively across teams and levels.
Comp : $130-150K base + bonus
