Information Technology Security Admin - Onsite
* ONSITE - Only local candidates will be considered.

Join a collaborative IT team as an Information Technology Security Administrator, where you'll play a hands-on role protecting enterprise systems, sensitive data, and critical infrastructure. This opportunity offers a broad cybersecurity focus spanning incident response, vulnerability management, SIEM detection engineering, security platform administration, and risk mitigation.

* Monitor security alerts, investigate threats, and coordinate incident response
* Manage vulnerability assessments, remediation, and risk-based prioritization
* Develop and maintain SIEM detection rules, dashboards, and security integrations
* Administer EDR, identity and MFA, email security, firewalls, and data security tools
* Develop scripts and automation using PowerShell, Python, or Bash
* Support security audits, third-party risk assessments, and compliance initiatives
* Manage security awareness training and phishing simulations
* Collaborate with IT teams on system hardening, patching, backup validation, and disaster recovery
Required Experience
* 3+ years of information security or IT infrastructure experience
* Hands-on experience with incident response and vulnerability management
* Experience with SIEM/EDR, identity and MFA, email security, and vulnerability management tools
* Scripting or automation experience
* Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
* Ability to obtain a relevant cybersecurity certification within 12 months
Preferred Experience
* CrowdStrike Falcon, Microsoft Entra ID, Cisco Duo, Varonis, or Veeam
* CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CISSP, CISM, or other relevant certifications
* Public-sector information security experience
* Experience working with external security providers, auditors, and incident response partners
