Job description
Akkodis is looking for an experienced IT Solutions Architect to support a major Fortune 500 energy organization in San Antonio, TX .
This is a great opportunity for a Solutions Architect, Data Architect, Data Solutions Architect, or Cloud/Data Architect with experience designing enterprise solutions across data, analytics, AI, cloud, and integration .
Position: IT Solutions Architect
Duration: Through December 2026, with potential to extend
Pay: $60–$80/hr on W-2 , based on experience
What you'll be doing:
Define end-to-end architecture for data products, analytics, AI, and integration solutions
Translate business requirements into scalable and reusable architecture patterns
Design integration across source systems, data platforms, APIs, and consumption layers
Support domain-driven data products, semantic layers, and AI-ready architectures
Align solutions with enterprise data governance, security, and technology standards
Lead architecture reviews and provide technical guidance to engineering teams
Identify architectural risks, dependencies, and modernization opportunities
Partner with business, product, engineering, governance, and vendor teams
Ideal Background:
Solutions Architecture / Data Architecture
Enterprise Data & Analytics Architecture
Data platforms – Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse, Data Lake/Lakehouse
APIs & Enterprise Integration
Data Governance & Security
Data Products / Semantic Layers / Data Modeling
AI/ML or AI-ready architecture exposure
