Job description
DutiesHelpOperates and maintains assigned network in support of the information services requirements of customer organizations.Provides tier II network support for the operational networks, in accordance with established Department of Defense (DOD), US Army, and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) directives and guidelines.Utilizes approved network management tools to monitor the health of the networks to enable a proactive approach to detect and resolve anomalies in the most expeditious manner to meet established service thresholds.Acts as project leader to facilitate projects designed to upgrade or replace required network services. Acquires, installs, and troubleshoots new or existing hardware and software systems.Provides advice to management and technical staff personnel on the capabilities and utilization of network technology to support the mission requirements of supported organizations.
