Job Posting End Date Please note the job posting will close on the day before the posting end date.Job SummaryResponsible for the operational support, security, and lifecycle management of network infrastructure supporting Cook Nuclear operations. This role focuses on incident response, task execution, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure refresh activities, ensuring compliance with NERC CIP standards and regulatory requirements.Job DescriptionWhat you’ll do:Essential Job Functions & TasksProvide day-to-day support for network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls) in a regulated environmentRespond to and resolve network incidents, outages, and service degradationExecute operational tasks and configuration changes in accordance with change management and NERC CIP requirementsPerform lifecycle refresh activities including hardware/software upgrades and replacementsIdentify, track, and remediate network vulnerabilities in alignment with NERC CIP cybersecurity standardsSupport firewall configuration and maintenance (Cisco ASA, FTD, Fortigate)Ensure compliance with NERC CIP controls including access management, configuration management, patching, and audit readinessMaintain documentation to support regulatory audits, evidence requests, and compliance reportingParticipate in a 24x7 on-call rotationRequired Experience & Skills5–7+ years of network operations or engineering experience in a large enterprise or regulated environmentStrong troubleshooting skills across routing, switching, and firewall technologiesExperience supporting incidents, lifecycle upgrades, and vulnerability remediation programsKnowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network security best practicesExperience with network monitoring and logging tools (SolarWinds, Splunk)Familiarity with ITIL processes (incident, change, problem management)Preferred Experience & SkillsExperience in NERC CIP, Nuclear, or other highly regulated environmentsExperience with IPAM/DDI solutionsCisco CCNA/CCNP or equivalent certificationWhat We're Looking For:Education requirements are listed below:Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required.Work Experience requirement listed below:7 years of relevant work experience is required. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.What You'll Get:Base Salary from $98,993.00 - $128,688.00 /year.
