nBrightStar Care of Lansing, MI, is seeking a skilled Infusion Nurse to join our team on a part time/per diem basis. In this role, you'll deliver specialized infusion therapy and patient education directly in the comfort of their homes. nResponsibilities:
nHome Visits: Provide specialty and core drug infusions, including IVIG and Remicade.
nPeripheral IV Management: Perform IV placement and maintenance.
nCentral Line Maintenance: Manage central lines effectively.
nTraining: Educate patients on injections, line maintenance, and self-administered infusions.
nCare Coordination: Collaborate with physicians and pharmacies to ensure optimal patient care.
nPlan of Care: Develop and maintain comprehensive care plans.
nRequirements:
nLicensure: Must hold a current unrestricted RN license in Michigan and valid CPR.
nExperience: Prior experience in home healthcare visits is required.
nVaccination: Recommend vaccinated against COVID-19 but not mandated.
nSkills: Experience with peripheral IV starts/maintenance, IV infusion therapy, injection and self-infusion training, phlebotomy for adult and pediatric patients, and CVAD knowledge is essential.
nTransportation: Must have a reliable car and auto insurance.
nBackground: Clean background and Urine Drug Screen.
nCompliance: Must adhere to regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations, including HIPAA and client confidentiality.
