Initial Registrar/ Accounting ClerkBrookfield Public Schools is seeking a dedicated Initial Registrar/ Accounting Clerk. Location: Whisconier Middle School Position Type: Secretarial, S-2, 11 Month Description: This dual-role position combines responsibilities of student enrollment and financial/clerical support. The incumbent is responsible for verifying and processing all required documentation for student enrollment and performing school-based financial recordkeeping, requisition processing, and reporting tasks. Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is preferred.Enrollment & Registration Duties:Collect, review, and verify all student enrollment documents (e.g., proof of residency, immunization records, birth certificates).Ensure all forms are accurately completed prior to submitting to the appropriate school personnel.Communicate with parents/guardians to obtain missing or incomplete documentation.Maintain secure and organized enrollment files and assist with district enrollment events (e.g., orientations).Provide guidance and support to families navigating the enrollment process.Accounting & Clerical Duties:Perform detailed bookkeeping and recordkeeping functions.Prepare and process purchase requisitions; verify delivery of goods and receive on invoices.Support the record keeping of student activity accounts; process deposits/disbursements and maintain audit-ready records.Assist in school budget preparation and track expenditures.Maintain inventory control and coordinate service needs for office supplies.Provide administrative and general office support as needed.Pay: $27.44 $32.70 per hour, depending on placement per the Collective Bargaining Agreement by and between the Brookfield Board of Education and UPSEU, July 1, 2024 June 30, 2027.To be considered for this position, candidates must complete the online application and upload the following documents: resume cover letter at least two recent signed letters of reference.
