This role is ideal for individuals continuing a career in set-up processing technician and are looking to develop their skills in a fast-paced, complex plastics production environment.This position reports to the Process Engineering Technician Supervisor and is part of the Plastics Manufacturing Engineering Team located in Indianapolis, IN and will be an on-site role.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Perform process troubleshooting, mold and cell set-up set-ups corrective, preventive tasks on injection molding machines, blow molding machines, automation handling equipment, temperature control units, mold controllers, material loaders, resin dryers, air compressors, chillers, and other plastics processing and support equipment.Process, Mold, EOAT, cell set-ups tasks performed independently and include different types of injection molding machines and injection blow molding machines. Troubleshooting and corrective tasks involve responding to unplanned downtime events, communicating with operations and perform set-ups, processing issues of various complex types of molds, machines.Work closely with machine operators, process technicians, supervisors and maintenance staff.The essential requirements of the job include:Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, multimeter, tensiometer, and precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc..)Strong problem?solving skills and willingness to learn.
